A recognised first step
AIDA1 is the introductory level in the AIDA education system.
It is designed to give you a safe and enjoyable first experience in freediving, while preparing you for the next step if you choose to continue.
Who This Course Is For

Course Structure
How the day works:
1. Theory Session
Start with an introduction to freediving, including breathing, safety, and basic techniques.
2. Confined Water Session
3. Open Water Session
Experience your first open water freedive, with a maximum depth of 10 metres.
Requirements
- No prior freediving experience needed
- You should be able to swim independently
- You should be comfortable in water too deep to stand
- Minimum age: 16 years old with parental consent
